FIMWeb Overview |
|
To ensure that school districts in Florida are acquiring adequate and current instructional materials.
To determine if districts are adhering to the state adoption schedule.
To provide planning information/projections for new acquisitions to the publishing industry in a timely manner.
The Florida Department of Education(DOE) developed FIMWeb in conjunction with Infinity Software Development, Inc. to allow school districts to report on their planned instructional materials (IM) purchases as directed by Florida Statutes. Districts are required to report IM purchases to DOE by April 1st each year.
Each district will designate one user to enter the district's planned IM purchases into FIMWeb. The designee will be the primary FIMWeb contact and is responsible for providing and keeping current their contact information (phone number, email address, etc.).
To enter planned purchases, the FIMWeb user must choose a subject, a grade level, and enter the appropriate planned purchase amounts for titles (adopted and non-adopted) in each grade level and subject area.
If this is your first visit to FIMWeb, check out the Data Entry Tutorial.
